The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma states its vision as living out the Chahta Spirit of faith, family, and culture. Those are the values our founder was raised toward and the ones this firm is run on. The Nation also names responsibility, honor, accountability, teamwork, integrity, and servant leadership as its operating values, and we hold the firm to the same list.
Do what you said you would do, tell the client the truth about the file, and let the work stand on its own. Integrity is not a marketing line here. It is the product.
Clients are people with a building, a budget, and a deadline. The nations we serve are communities, not accounts. We staff engagements so the person who scoped the work is the person who finishes it.
Sovereignty is not a formality to be worked around. We work inside tribal procurement law, respect government to government process, and treat cultural and historic resources as assets worth protecting in every plan we write.

Our founder holds a Master of Legal Studies in Indigenous Peoples Law and much of the firm's work sits beside tribal counsel, so participation in the Native legal community is part of how the firm stays current rather than a marketing line.

Native Americans and Alaska Natives face rates of violence far above the national average, and for generations too many cases went uncounted and uninvestigated. We stand with the families demanding answers and the advocates doing the work. Tribes are this country's first governments, and Native citizens remain among the most underrepresented voters in it. We support nonpartisan efforts to register Native voters, protect access to the ballot, and strengthen civic engagement across Indian Country.
Every dollar that circulates inside Indian Country builds lasting self sufficiency. We came up through that ecosystem and invest back into it by mentoring Native founders, buying from Native vendors, and supporting the programs that turn tribal members into business owners. Choctaw members should start with the Nation's Chahtapreneur program through Small Business Development.
One of the simplest ways to give back is to spend inside Indian Country. We keep a working referral list of Native owned businesses, with a particular interest in fellow Choctaw and Oklahoma firms and in the disaster recovery, construction, inspection, and professional services vendors we work beside in the field. Clients are encouraged to retain their own counsel, and the firm routinely works alongside tribal, corporate, and outside counsel.
Not a public adjusting firm. The firm does not represent policyholders as a public adjuster and does not solicit public adjusting engagements. Claims work is performed for insurance carriers, managing general agents, third party administrators, program managers, independent adjusting firms, and self insured entities. Work for governmental and tribal clients is independent consulting and reconciliation, not policyholder advocacy. Adjusting services are provided only where the firm holds the required license or a valid reciprocal or emergency designation.
Expert, appraisal and umpire engagements. Availability is subject to conflict clearance and to any licensure, registration, or appointment requirements of the jurisdiction and the policy at issue. Some states regulate who may serve as an appraiser or umpire. The firm confirms its ability to serve before accepting an engagement. The firm accepts one role per matter and does not serve as both a party appointed appraiser and a retained testifying expert in the same dispute. No representation is made as to the outcome of any matter.
Not a government agency. The firm is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorized to speak for the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the Department of Homeland Security, the Small Business Administration, the Bureau of Indian Affairs, the Indian Health Service, the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, or any other government or tribal government. Program summaries on this site describe public documents and are provided for reference. Federal program status and eligibility change without notice, and the governing regulation, policy, or notice of funding opportunity controls. The firm does not guarantee that any grant, obligation, appeal, award, or reimbursement will be approved or received.
Socioeconomic status. Choctaw Strategies, LLC is wholly owned by one individual who is an enrolled citizen of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. This is individual Indian ownership. The company is not a tribally owned enterprise, an Alaska Native Corporation, or a Native Hawaiian Organization, and it does not hold the sole source authorities reserved to those entities. Indian Economic Enterprise and Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise status is self certified under the Buy Indian Act. The SBA 8(a) Business Development application is pending and no 8(a) certification is claimed. All representations are subject to verification in SAM.gov.
