Severe storm and wind damage. Declared events across FEMA Region 6 are dominated by severe storms, tornado, and straight line wind.

Why Region 6

Region 6 carries one of the heaviest declared disaster loads in the country and the largest concentration of federally recognized tribes. Severe storms and tornado dominate the interior, hurricane and coastal flood dominate the Gulf, wildfire and post fire flooding drive the west of the region, and ice and winter storm hit the whole region periodically.

It is also where this company lives. The founder is an enrolled citizen of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, the company keeps an office at Wister, Oklahoma inside the Choctaw Nation reservation, and its adjuster licensure is anchored with Texas as designated home state, plus Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Kansas.

The company works in all ten FEMA regions and deploys nationwide. Region 6 is simply where it can respond fastest and where it already knows the emergency managers.
