Apply to Okla Risk Advisors
One application covers both career tracks. Choose your role first; the form shows the sections that apply. It takes about ten minutes. Your information is used only to evaluate your application and staff assignments.
Before you start
Adjusters: have your license numbers, NPN, certifications and a current resume ready. If you hold several licenses, list the states; copies are collected at onboarding.
Planners and teaming partners: have a resume, a list of completed plans with your role in each, and links to two writing samples.
Engagement terms
Engagements are independent contractor (1099) assignments under a written agreement with Choctaw Strategies, LLC, doing business as Okla Risk Advisors. They are not W-2 employee positions: no taxes are withheld and no employee benefits are provided. You may contract as an individual or through your own business entity. Contractors are encouraged to carry their own errors and omissions, general liability and auto coverage, and some client programs require it. Compensation is a fee split on each file, based on the client’s fee schedule, which varies by client and program. Some assignments are paid on a time and expense (T&E) basis instead. Whether a deployment is fee split or T&E is stated in writing before you accept it. Planning and writing work is paid hourly or as a fixed fee per deliverable, set in a written task order before any proposal is submitted.
Questions
Indian preference
Indian preference: as permitted by Section 703(i) of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the firm gives preference to qualified enrolled members of federally recognized tribes and Alaska Native villages living on or near a reservation. See the Indian preference policy.
Except for Indian preference as permitted by law, the firm considers applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.
