Engagement terms

Engagements are independent contractor (1099) assignments under a written agreement with Choctaw Strategies, LLC, doing business as Okla Risk Advisors. You may contract as an individual or through your own business entity. Contractors are encouraged to carry their own errors and omissions, general liability and auto coverage, and some client programs require it. Fees are set by assignment and client program and are reviewed with you before you accept a deployment.

Indian preference

Indian preference: as permitted by Section 703(i) of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the firm gives preference to qualified enrolled members of federally recognized tribes and Alaska Native villages living on or near a reservation. See the Indian preference policy.

Except for Indian preference as permitted by law, the firm considers applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.
